Responsibilities
As a Data Collection and Analysis Leader, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyse, and delivering insightful and unique data/information on the cause and effect of accidents and injuries. The role will drive and support RoSPA’s mission, and the post holder will need to build mutually beneficial relationships with partners around the world.
In addition, you will enhance and promote RoSPA’s influence and reputation by collecting data that delivers novel, accurate and useful insights, whilst also contributing to the development of information, advice, services and resources that actually stop people being accidentally killed and seriously injured.
Job Requirements
- able to see the big picture, horizon scan and spot and align opportunities;
- skilled in researching, reviewing and writing reports, research papers, factsheets etc;
- knowledgeable of quantitative & qualitative evaluation techniques;
- able to communicate effectively (verbally and written);
- confident presenting to, and influencing across technical, organisation, hierarchy barriers;
- a skilled programme manager, who can create, define and deliver to an agreed work plan.
Do you have experience of, or a qualification in…?
- Database creation and data manipulation
- Data science, epidemiology or public health research

The post holder will be a member of a small team and they will sometimes be required to work flexible hours with occasional travel and work away from home. Some overnight stays will be necessary.
