We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator (Sales Ledger) to look after our Sales Ledger whilst the current job holder in on Maternity leave. The successful candidate will be a team player, with an eye for detail and who is willing to take ownership of the Sales Ledger processing and also cover some of the duties of colleagues in periods of absence.

Responsibilities

The main areas of responsibility are as follows: -

- Posting monies received, in various forms, to appropriate customer accounts in a timely manner, reconciling customer accounts and preparing monthly customer statements.

- Reconciling automated credit card payments to the sales ledger and payment providers systems. Liaising with the digital product owner and service providers to resolve queries and issues arising.

- Maintaining accurate and timely records of reconciliations to ensure all are records are up to date.

- Reconciliation of Debtors Ledger on a regular basis and ensure customers adhere to their account terms and credit limits, chasing payments where necessary to ensure credit control is appropriately applied.

- Investigating account queries to establish and agree the correct situation, holding or releasing orders as appropriate. This will involve liaising with the Sales and Warehouse teams.

- Assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end audit.

- Assistance in the processing of the annual subscription charges and ensuring the team accurately maintain, control and record subscriptions for the charity.

- Other responsibilities that may arise from time to time.
