  • Supporting the CEO, Board and External Affairs Director on reputation and issues management work, highlighting emerging challenges and advising on approaches to responding.
  • Working closely with our Head of Marketing and Commercial Director to closely align all communications and marketing activity, and tell great stories about our work with a growing network of commercial partners.
  • Preparing key spokespeople for media, event and stakeholder engagements, in the form of briefing notes and speeches.
  • Fostering strong and productive relationships with colleagues across the wider organisation to shape communications activity, advising on communications tactics and strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities and overcome business challenges.
  • Leading and mentoring our talented communications team, seeking opportunities for their personal and professional development.
  • Playing a critical role as a visible senior leader in the organisation, upholding our values and championing success.
  • Supporting our new five year events vision and social impact programme.
