Responsibilities

The role supports the Legal and Governance Director, Lead Safeguarding Officer and Safeguarding Officer with a wide variety of legal issues. You will contribute to ensuring that the highest standards of governance are achieved and maintained; that all safeguarding, compliance and disciplinary matters are managed appropriately; that all reasonable and appropriate legal and governance support to golf facilities and county bodies is provided; and that all legal issues affecting the organisation are managed appropriately.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a National Governing Body for Amateur Golf in a wide range of activities. The ability to be highly organised and manage priorities appropriately is essential.

Applicants will need a wide understanding of English law and the legal system. Dealing with sensitive and confidential information, you will need to have a high level of integrity and trust with excellent written and spoken communication skills.  You will need the ability to build and sustain relationships with colleagues across the business at a range of levels and with external stakeholders. You must be IT literate.

The position is full-time and based at England Golf Headquarters at Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. We offer a hybrid working arrangement (three days in office and two from home) following a successful probation period.
