Applications are invited from those interested in applying and who consider they can meet the requirements and responsibilities of a National Black and Asian Ethnic Minorities (BAEM) Co-ordinating Officer position based in Unite’s Central Office in Holborn.

The individual fixed term appointments for this role will be for a 6 month period commencing as follows:

  • Fixed term appointment 1 - 01 June 2023 to 01 December 2023
  • Fixed term appointment 2 - 01 November 2023 to 01 May 2024
  • Fixed term appointment 3 - 01 April 2024 to 01 October 2024

Each subsequent fixed term appointment will be staggered to provide a one month handover to the next incoming fixed term appointment.

Responsibilities

The post-holder will be responsible for building involvement of BAEM Unite members in the areas designated by the National BAEM Committee and the General Secretary.

The salary for this role is £58,735.00 - Grade 9.
